We work slowly, and it is deliberate.

Maison d'Or began from a simple frustration: Morocco's finest houses were changing hands with nobody telling their story. Eighteenth-century riads sold on a spreadsheet. Kasbahs measured by the square metre.

We chose the opposite. Every house on our register is visited by us, photographed by us, and documented down to the land title before it is shown to anyone. We decline roughly nine properties in ten.

The result is a short register. That is exactly the point.
